The tattoo is made from a natural plant extract that reacts with the outermost layer of the skin, the epidermis, and colors the skin black or dark blue. A traditional tattoo is placed in the second layer of the skin, the dermis, and therefore becomes permanent. Since an Ink Rebel tattoo only settles into the epidermis, the skin is renewed naturally after about two weeks.
Generally speaking, our temporary tattoos last up to two weeks, but it also depends on where the tattoo is placed, how you take care of the tattoo and what your skin is like. See table below for estimated lifespan.
