The tattoo is made from a natural plant extract that reacts with the outermost layer of the skin, the epidermis, and colors the skin black or dark blue. A traditional tattoo is placed in the second layer of the skin, the dermis, and therefore becomes permanent. Since an Ink Rebel tattoo only settles into the epidermis, the skin is renewed naturally after about two weeks.
Generally speaking, our temporary tattoos last up to two weeks, but it also depends on where the tattoo is placed, how you take care of the tattoo and what your skin is like. See table below for estimated lifespan.
Three tips to make your tattoo last as long as possible you should:
- Place the tattoo in a place where the skin renews slowly, e.g. on the upper arms, legs or body
- Make sure to regularly moisturize the skin with a skin cream (at the earliest 24 hours after the tattoo is applied)
- Place the tattoo in a place that does not rub against a piece of clothing, watch, bracelet, rings, etc

Tattoos from Ink Rebel do not contain henna, but instead are made from natural ingredients that react with the outermost layer of the skin. A henna tattoo often contains chemicals that can cause allergic reactions.

A rub-on: lasts 2-3 days, sits like a sticker on the skin, doesn't look real and shines in the light.
A tattoo from Ink Rebel: lasts up to two weeks, settles into the first layer of the skin, looks like a permanent one, reflects light naturally.

It takes 24-36 hours before the tattoo is visible. Our temporary tattoos are made from a natural plant extract that reacts with and colors the outermost layer of the skin. This reaction takes up to 36 hours.

The front of the tattoo is not black but dark grey. This is how it should look and the color only appears when the tattoo is applied to the skin.

Our temporary tattoos sink into and color the outermost layers of the skin. It is not possible to wash off the tattoo in the same way as you can remove a rub. To make the tattoo disappear faster, you can exfoliate the skin where you want the tattoo to disappear. Yes! Because the Ink Rebel tattoo reacts with the first layer of the skin, the tattoo will usually be comparatively darker for those with darker skin tones compared to those with lighter skin tones.

No. Unfortunately, we do not offer the possibility to special order your own motif. The manufacturing process is complicated, time-consuming and unfortunately cannot currently be done in just one edition.

The offer is valid when you buy at least one other tattoo.
The offer is valid for certain motifs and this must be specified where you received the offer. Add one of the tattoos included in the offer and at least one other tattoo. This means that you need to add a total of at least two tattoos to the shopping cart where at least one of them has one of the motifs included in the offer. Begin the checkout process and then add the discount code at checkout to take advantage of the offer.

Add the products you want to buy to the shopping cart, go to checkout, enter your address and choose shipping options. In the last step, payment , you can add a discount code or gift card. If your discount code is not valid, it may only apply to certain products, may have expired, or may be valid for orders over a certain value.

Returns and refunds

All purchases are subject to a 14-day right of withdrawal. Email us at info@inkrebel.se to cancel a purchase. The right of withdrawal only covers unused products.

Our customer satisfaction guarantee means that you will receive a refund of your entire order if the tattoos did not meet your expectations. In order to be covered by the customer satisfaction guarantee, it is required that you have used the products according to the accompanying instructions. This means, among other things:
- You have applied the tattoos according to the instructions included with the order and have been careful to use a damp towel when applying.
- You have covered the tattoo with a loose fitting garment for the first night after application.
- You don't have the skin for excessive exfoliation
- You have not used and you still have the tattoos that have not been applied
For the customer satisfaction guarantee to apply, you also need to be aware of how long the tattoo is expected to last depending on where on the body it is placed (see the "product" section).

We offer free returns within 30 days.

Products returned must be unused and unopened. Contact us at info@inkrebel.se if you want to make a return. Contact us as soon as possible if you have canceled an order that has not yet been delivered.
